As we celebrate Easter, we are reminded of its powerful message of renewal, hope and transformation. This season of new beginnings invites us to give thanks for the blessings we share and to hold in our hearts those in our community who are facing hardship.

For more than 50 years, Parramatta Mission has been a place of welcome, hope and practical support for people experiencing crisis. Through the generosity of our community, people facing homelessness, loneliness and financial stress are able to find safety, connection and the support they need to rebuild their lives.

This Easter, we invite you to be part of that renewal. Your support helps ensure that no one has to face hardship alone. Every gift, no matter the size makes a real and lasting difference, sustaining the vital work of Parramatta Mission and the ministry of Parramatta Community Uniting Church.

The Moderator’s Easter message this year, focusses on the work of Parramatta Mission and Meals Plus.

Meals Plus – Support and Connection When It Matters Most

For many people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness, Meals Plus is the first place they turn. Each weekday, the program provides two nutritious meals and a safe, welcoming space where people can find connection, access support and take their first steps toward stability.

Through Community Hub Days, people are also linked with essential services, bringing legal support, Centrelink outreach and housing assistance directly to those who need it most.

Your Easter donation helps sustain programs like Meals Plus, which provides more than 80,000 meals each year, along with emergency food hampers, essential supplies and access to showers and laundry facilities. Together, these practical supports offer compassion, care and a pathway toward a more secure future.

Donate today and help bring hope this Easter.
